Warhammer Club joins forces

More members are encouraged to join the club.

The Amanzimtoti Warhammer Club joined forces for the first time this year on Saturday, 13 March.
Members were eager to interact with each other and play a round of the game.

“The club had one game played all members that came and we discuss the future of the club going forward,” said the founder of the club, Carl Coetzee, who was delighted to host the club’s first meeting.

In a game of Warhammer, players enact battles using miniature models of warriors and fighting vehicles. The playing area is a tabletop model of a battlefield, comprising models of buildings, hills, trees, and other terrain features. Each player takes turns to move their model warriors around the battlefield and pretend that they are fighting their opponent’s warriors. These fights are resolved using dice and simple arithmetic. The game has two versions – Warhammer 40k, which is a sci-fi universe and Age of Sigmar. More members are encouraged to join the club.

Carl has started a Facebook page ‘Amanzimtoti Warhammer Club’ where he shares fascinating information and content surrounding the game. For more information, contact him on 083-629-0862 (WhatsApp, Telegram, Viber and Signal).
