Radio station provides communication platform for Khanya Hospice

Hospice supporters from Belfast, Northern Ireland, contacted McDonald and donated more than R20 000 to Khanya Hospice.

CEO of Khanya Hospice, Neil McDonald, was recently invited by the morning presenter from Capitol Radio, Indraloshanee (Ini) Pillay to share the working and happenings of Khanya Hospice.

Ini as she is known to the listeners, had a list of questions that McDonald had to answer. The live stream broadcast can be heard in 162 countries worldwide.

McDonald was very excited to know that his children and grandchildren in Brisbane, Australia were also listening.

Hospice supporters from Belfast, Northern Ireland, contacted McDonald and donated more than R20 000 to Khanya Hospice. And on top of that, they also offered to help establish the organisation’s website and social media.

Thanks go to Sadha Govender, Ini and Capitol Radio for assisting Khanya Hospice.

Contact Khanya Hospice on 083-597-8985 or email hospice@khanyahospice.co.za to be a volunteer in a hospice charity shop.
