Stolen vehicle recovered in Umlazi

Motorists are urged to be on high alert. 

A stolen vehicle from Saunders Avenue, Isipingo was recovered a short while ago.  The speedy response from Umlazi SAPS, PT Alarms Tactical Unit and Tracker SA led to the recovery of a white VW Polo.

“The suspects drove recklessly and bumped into vehicles from Jooma Road in Isipingo heading to S section Umlazi. The suspects abandoned the Polo and hijacked a blue Hyundai i20 before fleeing,” said spokesperson of PT Alarms, Trishen Govender.

Motorists are urged to be on high alert. 

“Suspects appear to be looking for soft targets.  Residents need to be vigilant. Response units are on high alert in the Isipingo area.”
