Stolen vehicle returned to unsuspecting owner

PT Alarms control centre received a panic activation from a client and upon arrival on Egret Crescent found a vehicle abandoned near the client’s residence.

A man was both shocked and relieved when his vehicle was returned after being unaware that it was stolen in Lotus Park.  The incident occurred during the early hours of Thursday morning, 18 February.

“Response and tactical Officers who responded to the site then followed processes to locate the vehicle owner and SAPS. The vehicle had been damaged and the sound system was stolen and found a short distance away,” said spokesperson of the organisation, Trishen Govender.
