A man was shot and killed while two others sustained gunshot wounds in Isipingo a short while ago. It is alleged a dispute led to the shooting.
“The suspect was apprehended by PT Alarms Tactical Unit after he fled the scene,” said spokesperson of PT Alarms, Trishen Govender. “An enraged group descended on the suspect and meted out mob justice. The road has been cordoned off as authorities investigate further. The two casualties were stabilised and transported to hospital.”
Paramedics are treating the suspect.
PT Alarms Tactical unit, PT Ambulance Service, Umlazi SAPS K9, Isipingo SAPS and Metro Police and KZN EMRS are on scene.
