Operation Bobbi Bear gives thanks

A hit and run gift and party pack handout was also hosted for 300 children. This was done while practising complete social distancing with masks, sanitizer and no hugging.

It was truly a busy year for Operation Bobbi Bear which could not have been possible without the public’s assistance.

Our gratitude simply cannot be put into enough words. It is going to be near impossible to thank every single person who donated essential items, sweet treats and even cooked meals making things so much easier for us,” said the organisation’s Eureka Oliver.

We faced Covid-19, burst geysers, broken taps, windows, aircons, and had kittens dumped in our yard by their mommy cat, she obviously knew this was the place to be. “We had so many rape cases and went to court cases. Attended to domestic violence, lost children, found children cases and fed starving families.”

A hit and run gift and party pack handout was also hosted for 300 children. This was done while practising complete social distancing with masks, sanitizer and no hugging. “This broke our hearts but we did it.”

“There is simply no way we as a team would have got through all of this without each and every one of you. We pick up the raped, broken and abused children, get them to a police station, hospital and safely back here. Our supporters keep our home functional, they make sure we have the petrol, food, medicine, clothes and other essentials to be able to pick up that broken child. They keep us motivated with their kindness and generosity. To our supporters, friends, family, our amazing staff who worked such long hours, hospital staff, police and courts a very humble thank you. You all stood by us and helped drag us through the busiest time. You never let us down and kept us functional. We are eternally grateful. We are exhausted. From our home to yours God Bless each and every one of you for your love and continued support.”
