Community calls to end gender-based violence

The community is encouraged to support organisations that assist women and children in need. 

Members of the community joined the Amanzimtoti Trauma Unit’s (Turning Point) solidarity march on Wednesday, 25 November.

The peaceful march was held in commemoration of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children. Several non-profit organisations together with councillor André Beetge and members of SAPS were also present at the march.

Attendees handed out pamphlets along the route to educate the community. The community is encouraged to support organisations that assist women and children in need.
