Mr India South Africa finalist visits Amanzimtoti

The 26-year-old is one of 12 finalists in the competition and is passionate about community work.

Finalist for Mr India South Africa, Serandon Naidoo paid a visit to Ons Winkel Amanzimtoti on Monday, 16 November and was deeply moved with work done by the organisation. The 26-year-old is one of 12 finalists in the competition and is passionate about community work. While this competition is out of his comfort zone he aims to be a positive male role model in society.

I am overwhelmed and amazed with the work that is done at the store. It is wonderful that they assist the youth who want to further their studies but don’t have the means to do so.”

Serandon is a stylist specialising in hair and make-up design.

“I find beauty in everything I see before me. I’ve always been intrigued with the idea of using a person as a canvas and highlighting their natural beauty to transform them into the best versions of themselves. While the competition was challenging at the beginning, I definitely became more confident and business minded as we progressed. He has also styled several international tourists on cruise liners around the world. “In the last few years I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work on international cruise ships. It’s been an amazing journey working with a diverse group of people and being exposed to different cultures and ways of life.”

He dreams of one day developing his own range of affordable skin care and encourages the youth to find their passion and harness their natural talents.
