Visit the Khanya Hospice shops for bargains

The three shops are always looking for volunteers.

Sarie Pretorius, the manager at Toti Hospice shop could not believe it was time to put the Christmas tree up and unpack all the decorations. “It was like it was Christmas just the other day. This year seems to have passed so fast,” she said. Neil McDonald, the CEO of Khanya Hospice, popped in to help with the finishing touches.

“Our shops were closed for two months during the lockdown and we need to catch up on our budget. The Toti public is invited to come and see the most beautiful clothes, bric-a-brac, cutlery, crockery and decorations we have for sale. Our three shops are always looking for volunteers to help unpack donated articles and put them out ‘for sale’ either during a morning, afternoon or full day.” If you can help, call Sarie on 031-903-3408.

Khanya Hospice, that is not government-funded, offers free palliative nursing care to people with life-threatening illnesses and support to their families who request it. To donate, call Neil on 083-597-8985.
