Jabulani mourns death of stalwart

Neil was a resident at Jabulani for about three years and during that time, he formed many bonds with others. 

The community bid farewell to Jabulani committee member, Neil Oxley, who died on Monday, 26 October.

The 73-year-old suffered a fatal heart attack. He was born and raised in Amanzimtoti and spent most of his life in the area.

Neil was a resident at Jabulani for about three years and during that time, he formed many bonds with others.

“He was a kind and gentle person, who fought against injustice. He had a wonderful sense of humour. He and I became friends the minute he moved into the home. We will miss him dearly,” said close friend, Roy Kass.

Neil is survived by a host of friends and family.
