Amanzimtoti Main Beach ready for swimmers

Beach goers are urged to follow all necessary protocols.

After months the ban on swimming has been lifted on certain beaches.  All beaches are open, however, only Amanzimtoti Main Beach is open for swimming from 6am to 6pm. Swimming is allowed as part of a trial basis. Lifeguards are also back on duty.

“Lifeguards are trained to follow standard operational practice in case of an emergency. No person, including the general public, is allowed to perform CPR without the proper equipment,” said beach manager, Jace Govender.

Beach goers are urged to follow all necessary protocols.
