Amanzimtoti Tablers prepare for mass raid

The Thick Mass Raid Jol takes place at the RT85’s clubhouse on Tuesday, 13 October.

Amanzimtoti Round Table (RT85) invites men to join them for an evening of fun and laughter and see what the organisation is all about. The Tablers host what they call a Mass Raid evening, which is a social meeting where they briefly showcase any projects or upcoming events RT85 has planned or already hosted, with Tablers and their guests from other clubs throughout KZN invited to ‘raid’ (visit) the meeting. “We use this opportunity to invite many of our own friends, supporters and guests for them to see and experience the more fun and casual side of Round Table in a relax and less serious environment to get them to better know the members and organisation, as well as network more casually in a friendly comfortable environment with loads of banter, fun and laughs in between,” said president, Terence Hartwanger. “We obviously hope to gain membership through such evenings, but also much awareness and networking opportunities, which is a bonus for the Toti community. We usually have one or two official RT delegates from our area executive committee attend as well, whom then bring the more official business side of things, but without taking anything from the fun social side of the evening. Thereafter we socialise with a drink or two afterwards and a meal included for those who wish to stay a bit longer and are enjoying themselves.” The Thick Mass Raid Jol takes place at the RT85’s clubhouse at Amanzimtoti Sports Centre on Tuesday, 13 October. Meet at 6.30pm to start at 7pm, until about 11pm. All we ask is that they RSVP on 079-517-9754 by Saturday, 10 October for catering purposes and respect our members and clubhouse on the evening. We also welcome women to come with their partners or by themselves. The Tabler’s wives and partners will meet at Lords or the bowls club for a drink and chat while we have our social meeting and join us at the clubhouse once all the formalities and discussions of the evening are over.”   DID YOU KNOW?
