Delicious treats in Amanzimtoti to assist the fight against childhood cancer

Order six delicious cupcakes to be delivered to your door by the characters of your choice.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and cancer survivor Alma van Heerden is using this opportunity to help spread awareness of the early warning signs for childhood cancers and support an organisation very close to her heart, Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer. “They currently support about 130 oncology families each month to help cope with the financial burdens experienced during treatment and September is normally a big fundraising month for them.”

Alma and her friends has been involved with fundraisers at Galleria Mall since before she fell ill, by dressing up as princesses and other fantasy characters to help sell cupcakes. As a result of lockdown restrictions, Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer is unable to celebrate National Cupcake Day this month and will miss out on its biggest fundraising event of the year.

To assist, her and her friends want to help raise funds by selling a cupcake experience. “Spoil your loved ones by ordering six delicious cupcakes that will be delivered to your door by Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Anna, Elsa and Olaf or have Wonder Woman and Spiderman save the day with a delicious treat. The cost is R350 and that includes your cupcakes, the characters of your choice, amazing photo opportunities and the warm feeling in your heart that you’ve supported a worthy cause.”

All proceeds go to Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer. For more information or to order, send a WhatsApp to 082-465-2334 or email fablesandfantasies@gmail.com. If you would like to find out more on how you can get involved with this amazing organisation, follow ‘Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer‘ on Facebook.
