New vehicle for the CCPO to continue fight

ET sponsored a new Nissan NP200 bakkie, enabling us to again effectively fight crime in our community.

A local crime-fighting organisation has strengthened its ties to the CCPO with the sponsorship of a new vehicle. “After having had the use of a sponsored vehicle for many years, lockdown and Covid-19 forced Gauge Air to withdraw its sponsorship,” said chairman, Albert Swart.

This affected the CCPO’s mobility. Furthermore, having lost almost half of its members, also due to lockdown and the pandemic, the CCPO could not afford to replace the sponsored vehicle. “We approached our crime-fighting partners in the area, which are Blue Security Services, ET Rapid Response and National Security Services for assistance. Despite also having suffered financially recently, ET responded positively and sponsored a new Nissan NP200 bakkie to the CCPO, enabling us to again effectively fight crime in our community.

On behalf of the CCPO, its members and the community of the greater Amanzimtoti we serve, I thank ET for the vehicle and assisting us, when we needed it the most,” said Albert. “With ET being a locally-based service provider, my family residing in Toti and my children going to school in the area, it is very important for me to add as much value and assistance to the CCPO as possible,” said ET Rapid Response South Coast managing member, Tony Lokker.

“People need to dig deep to contribute, so that the CCPO can only grow from strength to strength.”
