A virtual annual general meeting via Microsoft Teams Meeting is set be hosted by Sapphire Coast Tourism on Wednesday, 26 August at 10am.
The organisation’s Romy Wenzel said, “As we welcome in our new financial year 2020/21, it is time again to encourage members to avail themselves to serve as voluntary working committee members for Sapphire Coast Tourism, your local community tourism organisation. We humbly request members that have not yet paid their membership fees, to take advantage of the 50 per cent discount (Covid-19) being available to all existing members.”
The link for the meeting will be circulated to all members for participation. The existing committee consisting of Romy Wenzel, Louise Prinsloo, Giselle Halse, Kim McCarthy and representation from the Durban South Business Forum, have availed themselves for re-election.
“If you would like to share your service with our tourism community, reply with your details for nomination on or before Friday, 21 August, noting only fully paid up members qualify. We look forward to united support within our tourism community,” Romy added.
