Ezimbokodweni River or waste water disposal channel [LETTER]

Few people know that about 25 million litres of partially or poorly treated waste water is finding its way into the ocean each day.

EDITOR – Herewith two early morning photos of the Ezimbokodweni River if you want to call it that at the moment.
Black and shinning like a mirror with the sun at my back. These photos were taken from the Amanzimtoti golf course bridge.
The presence of large pieces of sludge is also visible in the water. Who knows what changes the colour from healthy brown to a blackish grey colour. My sympathies for any fish and obviously at the moment a complete absence of any water fowls like cormorants and fish eagles. Few people know that about 25 million litres of partially or poorly treated waste water is finding its way into the ocean each day.
Who cares, are the waste water people also on lockdown?
