Man injured by boat at Amanzimtoti beach

He was a member of a sardine netting crew.

A man was injured at Winklespruit Beach on Sunday, 19 July when he was struck on the back by a boat’s propeller.

The unidentified man, who sustained two deep gashes to his lower back, was taken to Prince Mshiyeni Hospital for treatment. He was a member of a sardine netting crew. He has since been discharged from hospital and will make a full recovery.
