Netter, Anand Naicker, who has been participating in the sardine run for most of his life, described the annual event as incredible.

Winklespruit Beach saw buckets of excitement and frenzy when netters began pulling out thousands of sardines this morning.

Netter, Anand Naicker, who has been participating in the sardine run for most of his life, described the annual event as incredible and said, “The sardine run stirs up a lot of excitement in the community and across the country. Netters put in a lot of time and hard work. It is certainly a wonderful experience.”
