Biker critically injured in Kingsburgh accident

Reports from the scene indicated that a motorcycle and light motor vehicle were involved in a collision. 

A man was left critically injured when his motorbike collided with a truck on the R603 and N2 in Kingsburgh on Thursday morning, 11 June.

Reports from the scene indicated that a motorcycle and light motor vehicle were involved in a collision.

Media liaison officer of Netcare Limited, Shawn Herbst said, “Medics assessed the scene and found that the motorcyclist, an adult male believed to be in his 30s, had sustained critical injuries. The patient was treated on scene by an emergency care practitioner. Once stabilised the patient was transported by the Netcare 5 helicopter ambulance to hospital for further treatment.”
