One killed and another injured in Isipingo shooting

PT Alarms spokesperson, Dhevan Govindasamy said, “upon arrival they found the deceased victim by his car."

A man was killed and another was injured after suspects opened fire in Isipingo this morning.

It is believed that the second man sustained an injury when a bullet ricocheted.

Members of Isipingo SAPS, PT Alarms, Umlazi K9 unit and Orient CPF were on scene.

PT Alarms spokesperson, Dhevan Govindasamy said, “Upon arrival they found the deceased victim by his car. The second victim was at his flat when the bullet penetrated the door, ricocheted off the wall and struck him in the arm.”

The injured victim was treated and stabilised on scene by paramedics from PT Ambulance and transported to hospital.

The shooting will be investigated by Isipingo SAPS.
