Violent Amanzimtoti criminal behind bars

The suspect was cornered by ET,  CCPO and Blue Security officers

A suspect, who is well known to local law enforcement, was apprehended on Friday afternoon, 29 May after he attempted to stab CCPO committee member, George Snodey.

He called for assistance via the CCPO network and ET Rapid Response’s tactical response team (TRT) members responded. The suspect fled towards the railway line, but was cornered by TRT,  CCPO and Blue Security officers hiding under the bridge. He was detained and handed over to Toti SAPS.

“This again proves that working together has great results, as the area was quickly surrounded by our members, CCPO and Blue Security,” said ET managing member Tony Lokker.
