The Amanzimtoti SPCA team went out in the field on Tuesday, 12 May to help families in underprivileged areas feed their pets. “While Covid-19 is affecting many families around South Africa, the SPCA makes sure the animals do not suffer as a result,” said inspector, Luke Kayser.

The organisation handed out 200 food packs to grateful animal lovers in Malundi, near Craigieburn and hopes to hit Umzinto next week. To help, drop off dog or cat food, or rice at its offices at 1 Nyati Road, Athlone Park, or donate funds into the following account: Amanzimtoti SPCA, FNB, current account, account number: 62807184552, branch code: 220127.

“Please don’t stop donating, as you are all helping us make a difference in the life of an animal in need.”
