Amanzimtoti liquor store owner and potential buyer arrested

Communications officer of Amanzimtoti SAPS, Captain Charlene van der Spuy said, “Both suspects were charged under The Disaster Management Act."

A liquor store owner and potential buyer were both arrested before an illegal sale was made on Friday, 17 April, at Amanzimtoti Main Beach.

Communications officer of Amanzimtoti SAPS, Captain Charlene van der Spuy said, “Both suspects were charged under The Disaster Management Act. In addition, all the liquor was seized. The arrests were conducted by law enforcement, Metro Police and SAPS.”
