Amanzimtoti crime fighters nab stolen vehicle driver

A vehicle check confirmed to be positive on a Vereeniging theft of motor vehicle case.

A stolen vehicle was recovered and the driver apprehended by response officers in Winklespruit on Friday, 27 March.
“We were given a look-out for the vehicle, suspected to be stolen, that was mobile in the Toti area,” said ET Rapid Response managing member, Lokker.

Shortly after the circulation, the vehicle was spotted by an ET officer and tailed to a shopping centre and the driver was apprehended by ET and CCPO members, assisted by the tracking company, Blue Security and Toti SAPS.

A vehicle check was conducted, and it was confirmed to be positive on a Vereeniging theft of motor vehicle case. The driver and vehicle were taken to Toti SAPS for further processing and investigation.
