Win big with Clean Surf Project

The person whose naming option is selected will win R5000.

Get your creative juices flowing.  Clean Surf Project is affording the opportunity to residents to get creative and provide the organisation with an IsiZulu name for a KZN Marine Waste Network South Coast initiative.
The person whose naming option is selected will win R5000. The pilot project focuses on a 9km stretch of beach from Umbogintwini to Amanzimtoti River with the aim to reduce plastic pollution in rivers, storm water drains, informal settlements and so forth.

The organisation’s Romy Wenzel said, “This will ensure clean beaches all year round. In cooperation with stakeholders from the plastic industry, Clean Surf Project will be looking for an IsiZulu name to give the pilot project a recognisable identity.”

To enter post the name in the comments section on Clean Surf Project’s Facebook Page or submit your entry to cleansurfproject@gmail. The Winner will be announced at the official launch of the KZN Marine Waste Network South Coast Amanzimtoti Lagoon on Saturday, 14 March from 8.30am to 11am. The closing date for the competition is Tuesday, 10 March.
