Amanzimtoti housebreakers nabbed by CCPO

Housebreaking implements, a knife and gloves were found in their possession.

The CCPO has had a number of success again this week. While on patrol in Isundu Drive on Friday morning, 21 February, a Blue Security officer saw a suspect carrying three cement bags. The officer called for assitance, but on approach the suspect fled into nearby bushes. CCPO supervisor Logan Naidoo and his crewman assisted the recovery of the cements bags which contained plumbing accessories. The items were handed to Amanzimtoti SAPS.

Monday, 17 February

Two would-be housebreakers were collared by ET after a call came through via the CCPO network that a resident had spotted two males entering a premises in Oak Avenue, St Winifreds. he said they were tampering on the property, but fled when spotted. Shortly after the information was circulated to ET’s TRT and other CCPO members, the two suspects were located and apprehended by ET members in the St Winifreds area. Housebreaking implements, a knife and gloves were found in their possession. Both suspects were handed over to Toti SAPS for further processing and investigation.
