Boy (12) dies after being electrocuted at Illovo

The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.

Police are investigating the death of a 12-year-old boy who was electrocuted and succumbed to his injuries at Illovo on Saturday, February 22.

The incident occurred at about 11pm.

Provincial police spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala explained that an inquest docket is being investigated by Amanzimtoti SAPS.  “The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.”
