Fire rips through Isipingo school’s kitchen

There were no reported injuries however, a woman collapsed as a result of smoke inhalation and was treated. 

A fire broke out in the kitchen area of a primary school in Isipingo Hills, a short while ago.  PT Alarms Tactical Unit and PT Ambo responded together with firefighters, SAPS, and other emergency services.

There were no reported injuries however, a woman collapsed as a result of smoke inhalation and was treated.

PT Alarms spokesperson, Devan Govindsamy said, “The children were evacuated and removed to a place of safety.  The fire has been extinguished. Investigations are underway.”
