SCT continues on its quest to beautify Amanzimtoti

Feel free to contact us if you or your business would like to participate during the Easter programme.

Local artist, Christine Andrews, is once again showing off her talent by painting another stunning mural on a wall opposite Toti Mall.

This time around, the mural is to highlight the Sapphire Birding Route, showcasing the stunning birdlife that birders get to enjoy in and around the Sapphire Coast region, with Umbogavonga Nature Reserve, Burchell’s Coucal Eco Trail, Ilanda Wilds and Hutchison Park, Amanzimtoti Lagoon and Illovo Lagoon being some of the viewing points.

“In addition, we are focussing on the upcoming school and Easter holidays in March and April,” said Sapphire Coast Tourism (SCT) chairperson, Romy Wenzel. SCT thanks each and everyone, all businesses and sponsors, for offering tremendous support throughout the successful Sapphire Sizzling Summer Holiday Campaign in December.

“For the Easter holidays we will provide music, beach games, Easter egg hunt, giveaways as well as a flash mob performance. Feel free to contact us if you or your business would like to participate during the Easter programme, as we are once again looking for sponsors that can assist with promotional giveaways, prizes as well as beach activations in order to entertain SCT coasters, local as well as international holidaymakers.

It’s a great platform to showcase what Amanzimtoti, local businesses and the entire Sapphire Coast has to offer with Amanzimtoti Main Beach attracting thousands of beachgoers throughout the holiday season each and every year,” said Romy.
