Protests sparked in Umgababa

Residents have moved to a nearby centre and are waiting to be addressed by mayor, Mxolisi Kaunda.

Disgruntled Umgababa residents barricaded roads and burnt tyres to protest against the lack of service delivery in the area, this morning.

According to a concerned resident, the police presence restored calm to the situation.  However, residents have moved to a nearby centre and are waiting to be addressed by mayor, Mxolisi Kaunda.
