Isipingo learner placed eighth in school district

Deshana achieved distinctions in English, Afrikaans, mathematics, physical science, life science, accounting and life orientation in the national senior certificate examination. 

IT was indeed a proud moment for Isipingo Secondary School learner, Deshana Ponnan who was honoured after receiving the dux award for the 2019 school year.

Deshana achieved distinctions in English, Afrikaans, mathematics, physical science, life science, accounting and life orientation in the national senior certificate examination.
Impressively, she also obtained a 94 per cent aggregate and was placed eighth in the Umlazi district.

In honour of her sterling results, she was awarded the eThekwini bursary to study further at UKZN Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine.
