Firearm amnesty help desk now available

Those who wishes to surrender illegal or unwanted firearms, firearm parts and ammunition are able to do so through the enquiry desk.

A TWENTY-FOUR hour enquiry desk has been made available by the South African Police Service to ensure a smooth firearm amnesty process.

Those who wishes to surrender illegal or unwanted firearms, firearm parts and ammunition are able to do so through the enquiry desk. Information regarding the the firearm amnesty process may be obtained at your nearest police station or by login on the SAPS website: www.saps.gov.za.

Answers can also be obtained by calling the central firearm registry enquiry desk on 012-353-6111.
Staff is available on weekends to provide answer to pressing questions that you have been trying to find answers for.
