CCPO enjoys quiet festive season

Quick response by the CCPO resulted in a suspect being caught in the vehicle.

The CCPO celebrated a relatively quiet festive season in Toti, with only a few minor incidents to report.

On 1 January 1 a vehicle thief was nabbed breaking into a motor vehicle in Middleton Road, Winklespruit in the afternoon. “Quick response by the CCPO resulted in a suspect being caught in the vehicle. It is alleged that the suspect had broken into two other vehicles and he was handed over to Toti SAPS for further investigation,” said committee member, George Snodey.

On 31 December a bicycle was recovered after it was left behind by a suspect in Fynn Road and on 29 December outdoor furniture was recovered after CCPO supervisor, Michael Mkhize spotted the suspect carrying them in Acutt Road. “When he stopped his vehicle, the suspect dropped them and fled, and they were handed in at Toti SAPS.”
