House breaking suspects arrested

The vehicle was searched and contained house breaking implements and gloves.

Two suspects were arrested following two house breakings in Amanzimtoti, last week.

ET’s Rapid Response’s, Tony Lokker said, “Information was received that a vehicle, wanted for house breaking, had entered the Amanzimtoti area. The vehicle was said to have been involved in two house breakings in the Amanzimtoti area in the last two weeks.”

The vehicle, a white Toyota, was spotted by ET Rapid Response TRT traveling along Old Main road, and was stopped with members of Amanzimtoti SAPS crime prevention, CCPO and Blue Security.  The vehicle was searched, and contained house breaking implements and gloves.

“It was also discovered that they had false plates on the vehicle. They had the false plates, stuck on with double sided tape.  Two suspects were detained, and were taken to Amanzimtoti SAPS for further investigation,” he added.
