Christmas cheers at Bobbi Bear

Children were spoilt with yummy eats and each one was presented with a gift bag.

Christmas came early for the young residents of Operation Bobbi Bear when local businesswoman and charity worker, Berdine Visser, hosted a festive get-together on Saturday, 23 November.

With help from kind-hearted sponsors, the children were spoilt with yummy eats and each one was presented with a gift bag.

Berdine Visser gets a thank you hug from one of the Bobbi Bear charges.

Thanks to Jacques Kruger of Winklespruit Pick n Pay for the voucher; Allen and Gary Hawkins of Victory Spar for the donations; Stella Alpino Cammarano of Nello’s Warner Beach for the pizzas; BP Seadoone for the gift bags; Alta Jansen van Vuuren for the platters; Nerina Erasmus for the cupcakes; Gail Leathley of KZN Inflatables for the jumping castle; and Avelino Lourenco of Franco Molato’s for the charcoal and firelighters.

“I thank each and everyone from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful donations. Without you, Bobbi Bear’s Christmas party would not have been possible,” said Berdine.
