Boy (8) drowns in Umkomaas River

The eight-year-old boy was swimming with friends.

Police are still searching for the body of a young boy who drowned in the Umkomaas River on Saturday, 16 November.

“A missing person docket was opened for investigation after an eight-year-old boy drowned while swimming with friends in Umkomaas River. Officers from the search and rescue team are still searching for the body,” said Captain Nqobile Gwala of the SAPS KZN Media Centre.
