“The event offers great exposure for both myself and the organisation.  I want to promote organisations that assist children who have been abused. And encourage the youth to speak out against abuse.  It is also important to teach them from a young age about what is right and what is wrong.  Organisations like Bobbi Bear are instrumental in helping children and young people overcome years of torment, neglect and abuse and I believe that these are the building blocks that help reinstate them back into to society,” said that passionate individual.

Born and raised in Umgababa, the talented model hopes to also promote young girls to adopt the culture of loving themselves and the skin that they are in.

“My biggest inspiration is Pearl Thusi. She has encouraged me to accept my natural beauty and to love my natural hair.  She also urges the youth to never listen to any negative comments from others, because that is what impacts ones self esteem.  Girls and women should always strive to support each other,” she added.

The top model event is set to take place at Cafe La Plage on Sunday, 24 November and is set to showcase the latest fashion and promising talent.
