Little eco warriors aim to protect the environment

These little ocean warriors previously participated in a successful beach clean up at Winklespruit Beach in May this year.

An amazing morning was spent with the little ones of Busy Bees Pre-School as they were spoilt by a fun, educational presentation about marine plastic pollution hosted by the Clean Surf Project, recently.

The extra special guest was, Danny – The Dolphin who danced along during the informative programme.

Romy Wenzel of Sapphire Coast Tourism and the Clean Surf project said, “These little ocean warriors previously participated in a successful beach clean up at Winklespruit Beach, in May this year.  They collected an incredible amount of 331,1 kg of waste with most litter left behind after the severe April floods.”

The Clean Surf Project would like to thank Busy Bee Pre-School, all learners and educators for the invitation and joining them in the fight to protect the oceans and environment.
