Three people were killed and two others critically injured in a shooting incident in Isipingo on Sunday night, 20 October.

The shooting occurred on Sabjee and Rana Road. PT Armed response units and PT Ambulance services responded to the scene.
Communications spokesperson, Devan Govindasamy said, “The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage. Three people succumbed to their injuries while two people were seriously injured and had to be treated by PT Medics.”
Isipingo SAPS responded swiftly while PT Armed response units secured the scene prior to their arrival.
“The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this stage and are subject to police investigation,” he added.
