‘Knitted Knockers’ to be donated to breast cancer survivors

The prosthetic 'knockers' were knitted by members of PWP over the year and will be donated to breast cancer survivors.

More than 50 prosthetic ‘Knitted Knockers’ were handed over to the CANSA organisation, recently.

This well-supported event was organised by the Renishaw Hills Women’s Group, Projects with a Purpose in conjunction with the Renishaw Hills Functions Committee. The PWP members handed over ‘Knitted Knockers’ to CANSA counsellors, Sharon and Errol Theron, on the day.

The prosthetic ‘knockers’ were knitted by members of PWP over the year and will be donated to breast cancer survivors. The event welcomed Dr Viyonne Longmore as guest speaker, a well-known local healthcare practitioner who spoke on the subject of breast cancer.
