Eskom has confirmed that stage 1 load shedding will be implemented as of Friday, 18 October. However, according to a media release stage 2 load shedding will be maintained for the greater part of the day from midday.
Stage 1 requires the least amount of load shedding and will commence from 9am to 11am on Friday.

No load shedding is anticipated over the weekend.
