Crime round-up in Isipingo

The round-up was conducted from Sunday, 22 to Tuesday, 24 September.

The crime round-up in Isipingo was reported by Alpha Alarms relating to various crime scenes that members attended.  The round-up was conducted from Sunday, 22 to Tuesday, 24 September.

The report stated: 

Criminals in the Isipingo area made their appearances with an attempted robbery at a local pizza outlet.  It was reported that three suspects attempted to rob the store and one suspect was apprehended with nothing taken.

A convenience store at a fuel station on Phila Ndwandwe Road was robbed.  It is alleged that two suspects grabbed an unconfirmed amount of cash and a box of cigarettes. Isipingo SAPS was on scene.

A business break-in occurred at a business premises in the Isipingo CBD. Suspects stole alcohol and cash. No case was desired.

Another business break-in occurred in the Isipingo CBD where two suspects gained access through the back toilet. It is unconfirmed what was taken but a hammer, a cellphone, and a carjacking were found at the scene. Isipingo SAPS were on scene.

A residential premises was broken into in Isipingo Hills and the house was ransacked. It is unknown how many suspects entered the house. Entry was gained via the back window.  Isipingo SAPS were also on site.
