“As a caring municipality, we are committed to providing service delivery through the provision of housing opportunity to some of our most vulnerable people. I am happy to report that development in all the three identified sites is on track and we should be in a position to commence with the Kanku Road Housing project in February 2020, the Pilgrim X Housing Project in February 2021 and the Uganda Informal Settlement upgrade phase 1 in April 2021,” said Kaunda.

He also added that the feasibility studies for these projects have been completed and the Provincial Department of Human Settlement has approved Tranche 1 application.
