Umdoni learners do their bit for the environment

The delighted learners were educated on the importance of planting trees.

In honour of Arbour month, the little ones at Umdoni Pre-Primary School spent a week planting trees in their school ground that commenced on Monday, 16 September.

The delighted learners were educated on the importance of planting trees while learning about the different species that benefit from them.

All seven of the trees were sponsored by the Illovo Nursery.

The little ones were delighted to plant trees in the school ground.
