Amanzimtoti Tennis Club’s first team drew against North Coast 1 and the second team lost to Cowies Hill in the midweek women’s league matches on Wednesday, 4 September.
The second team has one more match to play against North Coast on Wednesday, 11 September at Umhlali.
The Saturday women’s league match which was rained out on 17 August was finally played on Saturday, 7 September, and the women’s team recorded a 7- 4 win against Cowies Hill 1. Toti’s first women’s team, playing in the second division, finished top of the log. The second women’s team finished third in the fifth division out of six teams.
Match secretary, Joan Grossett thanks all involved in the weekend league, especially those who helped out at short notice.
The men’s team lost to Coastal Breeze on Saturday, 7 September, and have one more away match against Chatsworth on Saturday, 14 September. Social members will have all courts available for play.
The Saturday morning development clinic continues at 8.30am until about 10.30am.
