CROW’s wands for wildlife

Before you discard your old mascara, consider donating the mascara wand to CROW for the benefit of nature's little creatures.

The Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) is appealing to community members to not throw away their old mascara wands.

“We can use them to treat and clean many of the animals that we admit into the centre. We can use them to clean oil, larvae, fly eggs, mites, infections, mud and other contaminants from the animals. Just give them a good wash and drop them off with us. This also serves as a great recycling initiative,” said CROW’s marketing and communications officer, Lana Bartholomew.
