UPDATE: Five including children injured in Kingsway, Amanzimtoti

It is believed the taxi was carrying children aged between five and 10 years old.

Five people, including children, were injured when a taxi and bakkie collided on Kingsway, Amanzimtoti a short while ago.

It is believed the taxi was transporting children aged between five and 10 years old.

Garrith Jameison, operations director of Rescue Care said, “A total of five people were stabilised and transported to local hospitals.”

The relevant authorities were on scene and will investigate the cause of the crash.
