Suspect set alight in Isipingo

He sustained burns on the lower half of his body and severe injuries to the head and face.

A suspect was set alight in an act of mob justice after he allegedly robbed a woman in Isipingo, on Monday morning.

The suspect was allegedly doused in old engine oil and he was set alight.

He sustained burns on the lower half of his body and severe injuries to the head and face.  PT Tactical Unit managed to apprehend suspect and the mob had dispersed.

The suspect was treated for his injuries by PT Ambulance services and transported to the nearest hospital for further treatment.
