A certain area in Amanzimtoti will be without electricity on Sunday, 18 August from 9am to 5pm to replace an old switch gear on the main electrical sub station located below Toti Mall. Afsaal, Ingleside, Le Escalier and Sweetwaters flats, Toti Mall and Shell garage in Rosslyn Road will be affected by the power outage.
“Residents are requested to plan accordingly and especially so where blocks do not have lifts and treat all connections as live during this period of essential maintenance,” said ward 97 councillor, Andre Beetge.
