FRIDAY, 16 AUGUST: ATKV en die NG-gemeente Suidkus bied twee eenman- en vrou vertonings van Wynand van Vollentsee (Gielie in ‘Ouboet en Wors’) se ‘gewigtige saak’ en Michelle Boha (Corlia van ‘Getroud met Rugby’) se ‘storm in a F-cup’ aan by die Kuswag skoolsaal om 6.30nm vir 7nm. Kaartjies kos slegs R150 per persoon. Dit is ‘n Barnyard-styl vertoning, bring jou mandjie met eet- en drinkgoed. Skakel Marietjie Jansen van Rensberg op 082-924-8779 vir besprekings.

SATURDAY, 17 AUGUST: Mekudeshet service at Life Church, Scottburgh. Pre-service prayer at 10am, service from 11am to 1pm, refreshments and fellowship to follow. Contact Roger Lenk on 071-497-1804.

TUESDAY, 27 AUGUST: Sapphire Coast Tourism AGM takes place at Happy Days conference centre at 12.30pm. All paid up members are requested to attend.

SUNDAY, 1 SEPTEMBER: Enjoy an spring craft market at 111 Pig and Whistle Drive, Clansthal from 9am to 2pm. The community of Clansthal works hard to ensure its conservancy is pristine, so visitors can enjoy the beautiful facilities. To raise funds for essential costs, Keith and Liz Cunningham open their home to host an enjoyable Sunday where visitors can relax in a beautiful garden. SUNDAY, 1 SEPTEMBER: British South Africa police braai at Mills Bomb Shellhole, Warner Beach from 11am. Salads and rolls will be provided. Bring your own meat, cutlery and plates. Contact Marie Bowker on 079-386-4185.

SUNDAY, 8 SEPTEMBER: The world famous Drakensberg Boys Choir will perform at Scottburgh High School at 2pm. Tickets cost R120 and are available at the Scottburgh Methodist Church. Refreshments will be on sale. For more information, call the church on 039-978-3182 or 084-911-2483.
